From my own healing journey, I have learnt that recovery isn't just a simple "you're healed now" and you pick up where you left off. For me life after critical illness - in my case it was stage 3 cancer - meant a whole new journey starts and more often than not, this road to recovery is long, winding, and challenging.

Because the effects of critical illness are so individual, and there simply is no one size fits all, we have created a list of practitioners that focus beyond standard care and address illness recovery holistically.

Craniosacral therapy supports the immune system and offers valuable benefits for oncology patients. Joy's gentle treatment helps patients feel calmer and more balanced during chemotherapy, often improving infusion tolerance and quality of life. Craniosacral therapy also supports emotional and physical recovery after treatment.
